Equipping The Saints For The Work Of The Ministry

Men and women everywhere ask“How can I be used of God?  Can I have a ministry?”For many people, ministry remains the job of the clergy, or those specially gifted.
This is not to be. Have we forgotten the disciples? The early church leaders were fisherman, tent makers, farmers, shepherd’s and merchants. God has made it quite clear that as the body of Christ we are to be vessels of the ministry of Christ, ministering his love and compassion to the poor, the lost and the sick, serving others as he served us.
The Lords purpose is for all to be used in the good works he has prepared for us.!Ephesians 2: 8 – 10
"For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them".
(New King James Version)
